Cauca is a regional blend of decaffeinated coffee sourced from smallholder farmers in Colombia’s Cauca region. This coffee features Caturra, Colombia, and Typica varieties, traditionally washed and dried in parabolic dryers before undergoing a natural decaffeination process at Descafecol. Using only ethyl acetate derived from sugarcane and mountain spring water, the decaffeination process ensures 97% caffeine removal while preserving the coffee’s delicate, balanced flavors with hints of sweetness. Grown in fertile volcanic soils, this coffee reflects the unique highland environment of Cauca, offering a smooth, satisfying cup.
